Last Day Of term

Today is the last day of term 3 and it

is a very busy one. Firstly we are performing at assembly. Mrs V has been busy doing the final preparations on our costumes. We had made our costumes a while ago but when we tried them on at dress rehersal the skeletons all came off. So Mrs V frantically hotglued them all back on yesterday. She burnt herself with the hotglue gun a couple of times. But she's ok. There were lots of people at assembly and we were

very excited. Mrs V said we did a great job at singing and our dance moves were spot on.
It was also "Footy Day' That's when we all dress up in our favourite team colours and have a parade. It is always a very colourful day and everyone gets into the act. After the parade we have tabloid sports. Our footy teams are made up of children from Preps to grade 6. The weather was fantastic, but by lunchtime we were

a bit exhausted. We always have a "Footy Day' lunch which usually consists of a pie or pastie with a milk drink and of cause lots of sauce.

So now it's time to say goodbye to our third term and welcome the Spring holidays.
