Today my grade went swimming and the non swimmers went to Mrs Hicks's Grade. The children in her grade normally start with 'Show & tell' while we colour in posters. After show & tell the chidren were writing in their english books and writing about what they do at swimming. We got to test them with their spelling words. After a while when 1H leaves for swimming we go into Mr Kelly's room until our class comes back from swimming. Sometimes 3K goes out for a mini play because they miss out on play because they are at swimming. So we get an extra play as well. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!
In the afternoon we did some maths. We talked about polyhedrons and polygons. We looked at the differences between a prism and a pyramid. I drew a picture of a rectangular prism and a square pyramid. My drawing was pretty good. But I had to stay back to finish my work.
